Air base Gilze-Rijen is a helicopter base situated in the Gilze & Rijen municipality, Northern Brabant, where helicopters of the Defence Helicopter Commando (DHC) are stationed. Very large burglar-proof overhead doors have been installed here. The hangar doors are about 17,000 mm wide and 6,500 mm high. The burglar-proof hangar doors have been especially developed and these security doors have a high security resistance. The hangar doors are installed as overhead door and has no restictions in terms of functionality.
