Door features
Protec Industrial Doors is specialized in advanced doors. This translates into a wide range of door solutions including burglar resistance, bullet resistance, explosion resistance, acoustic insulation, (high) thermal insulation, fire resistance, etc. These are the frequently recurring requirements for our doors. However, the possibilities do not stop here. Protec Industrial Doors offers you total project solutions, which is why it has developed various project-specific properties that may be required less frequently, but do belong to the advanced possibilities of Protec Industrial Doors.
Shielding
A few examples of project-specific properties are electromagnetic shielding (EM shielding) and radiofrequency shielding (RF shielding). These solutions are implemented to prevent electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radiofrequency interference (RFI).
To limit the RFI and to convert the EMI into EMC (electromagnetic compatibility), RF and EM shielding components can be used. The shielding can also be developed for doors. In this highly specialized area of expertise, there are several options that all have their own specifications in terms of engineering and shielding integrity.
TEMPEST
TEMPEST is a specification of the US National Security Agency (NSA) and a certification of NATO, NATO SDIP-27 level A, B and C. The TEMPEST specification is aimed at protecting digital data from espionage. The protection is achieved through distance, filtering and shielding. For the shielding (of digital data), Protec Industrial Doors can provide suitable solutions.
Faraday cage
A Faraday cage is a structure made of electrically conductive material, such as copper or iron. A Faraday cage ensures that static electric fields cannot enter or exit the Faraday cage, depending on the application. Protec Industrial Doors can provide you with doors that act as part of a Faraday cage.
Earthing
In various fields of application, earthing of doors may be a requirement. Due to various business processes, for example, a high voltage may be applied to the door. This may constitute a risk, for example, in an area where an explosion hazard may be present (ATEX).
Wind load
In some projects, high wind loads must be taken into account. This applies, for example, in areas with an increased risk of hurricanes (or other wind-related forces of nature). Protec Industrial Doors can offer you doors that can not only withstand high wind loads, but also remain operational at these high wind loads of 220 kph, for example.
Vandalism & crime
There are more options in the field of security as well. We can offer you doors that are explicitly developed to provide resistance to a ram raid, by absorbing the impact of a car. In addition, Protec Industrial Doors can provide you with doors that are developed to provide resistance to projectiles or that are breakout-resistant, for example.
Project solution
If certain requirements in your project are neither included in this list, nor specified in the product pages, Protec Industrial Doors can still provide you with a door solution that matches them. Examples of this are: doors that can withstand earthquakes or doors that are specially developed for the movement of a ship. Please contact the consultants of Protec Industrial Doors for information about the possibilities.
