RaHouse, RaPOP and R’w
Protec Industrial Doors has long been a supplier of high-quality sound-insulating logistical doors. Projects such as the Ziggo Dome and Royal Arena testify to Protec Industrial Doors’ success in their project-based approach to this product group, which is defined by EN ISO 10140-2.
The success in these projects was partly achieved through open communication regarding the tested and certified performance of our doors in accordance with the European standard EN ISO 717. Protec Industrial Doors unburdens the project team by providing your acoustic consultant with all necessary information at an early stage. Examples of the provided data are: the test results at all frequencies within the different test spectra, the Rw values, the Ra values and the Ratraffic values.
Occasionally project teams prefer project-related correction values, such as Rapop for pop music and RaHouse for house music. Protec Industrial Doors is now enabled to specify these values.
Projects are also increasingly requiring performances based on practice values, specified as R’w values. Protec Industrial Doors has the knowledge and experience to secure the R’w performance of our sound-insulating doors, in collaboration with your acoustic advisor.
If you would like more information about the specified values and what they represent, as well as the performance of our solutions or how we can be of service to you, do not hesitate to contact us.
